Priceless Treasures

Connie, you know, I always asked not to touch the flowers (of course you don’t listen). You just love pulling them and put them in glasses. “Mommy that way we all enjoy them”. Today I found some in the bathroom and they may not look pretty but I was so touched. The best flowers from my beautiful daughter.

Beach Time


We had a funny summer not that much heat... but we still had fun.

Our Friend Gloria

Our neighbor Gloria is the sweetest. I know you guys adore her. I hear you some times calling her from the yard to show her something. Gloria knitted your first blanket, sweaters, hats and the most delicate dresses and cribs. I never forget the day Gloria lost Cliff (her husband) you called her and she told us “It’s okay, the girls can call me anytime, they always bring a smile to me”. She is full smiles every time she sees you.

La Cocina de mi Abuelita


Journaling:
It seems like yesterday that I was a little girls and I was looking forward to go to see “mi abuelita”. I can smell fresh cake and home made cream cookies with fresh whipped butter. A big hug and lot’s of kisses. I learned how to cook from her. She took the time to teach me and gave her secrets. She always said “Just make your food with lots of love and it will come out like heaven”. Her food was always like heaven to all of us. I am so lucky that I still have mi abuelita. Her hands are shaky and tired. There is not energy to cook anymore, but the big hugs and smiles are still there.

Sweet Isabella


Isabella is a little mother; she is only 15 years old. She just met her new cousin Michael and she could not put him down. It was funny when you guys wanted to hold him and Isabella says “no, you are too young. They didn’t let me hold you when you guys were babies, you have to wait”.

Pioneer Dancers
