Memories

Journaling:I was talking to my friend Sandra when I saw a beautiful picture of her sons. The baby is uncle Fabian (about a year old) and his brother Fernando (6 years old). Titi took the photo in front of their house in Buenos Aires Argentina.Sandra says “Aren’t they gorgeous? Mis dos amores. Life passes us too quick, you’ll see”. I understand specially Sandra that lost Fernando when he was only 15. Don’t we all wish that we have some magic key to go back at certain time? It’s so bittersweet for me too. I want you guys to grow and at the same time I want to hold the time to be together forever.

Dancing with the Moon

Journaling:I was coming really late and exhausted from work. I just barely park when you too came out running to give hugs and kisses. After that you look at the moon and said “Mommy the moon is beautiful, we want to dance with the moon” you start using all your ballet skills and danced so beautiful. You didn’t care that it was pitch dark in the middle of the street with your pjs, just admiring the moon’s beauty. There is nothing better than come home to see you.

My Friend

Isn't this pretty... love the doodles....

Journaling:Carlita said “Mommy I want to pet the ducky. I want him to be my friend” I said “don’t move. He’ll come to you”. You sat still for a while until you call him again. Lucky you he came to us but not close enough to pet him. But close enough to make your day.

Love Halloween

It's one of my favorite time of the year and my girls love it!!! Here is my layout using Hip Pacific from Berna Datema. It's not a Halloween kit however the colors go with everything. I also combined one of Kristin's beautiful templates.

Journaling:Those little faces always light up at Halloween. This year looking at your Uncle with mask was scary but at the same time fun. Daddy didn’t feel like walking with us but for sure he will this year.

Beautiful

Journaling:Connie you are always moving and it’s so hard for me to take pictures. I was so excited when you told me take pictures of me Mama and you were still giggling but not moving as much… And when I looked at photos my white balance was wrong!! However, black and white you are beautiful as always.

Rocking Times

Journaling:I was amazed when I saw this photo of your Daddy when he was in England during his Military Show Group adventure. This photo was taken by a photographer and journalist for the military newspaper who travel with them to England and he was kind enough to give a copy to everyone. Your good looking Daddy is on the top of the bus with the drum sticks.

Time Flies

Journaling:I found this photo and I asked my mom who’s in the picture. She smiled and stared at the picture for a few minutes and said “That’s me in high school”. I saw her beautiful smile in the tiny torn photo. “It seems like yesterday that I was laughing with my friends, that’s my only high school photo. We didn’t take photos back them.”Some day you’ll feel the same way. I remember when the days were so long that I didn’t know what to do anymore. Now, especially after I had you; I feel the same way as Abuelita Flor, there is not enough time during the day to do what I need to do. We need to be thankful for the time that we have together.

But, I convince you to leave it because he’ll come back later to look for it and he’ll be sad. You were so happy because, you’ll be waiting for the little birdie.

Showtime

I wasn’t sure if to scrap this moment or not because the pictures were so dark. My girls do not want to have any light. They said it’s a show…. No lights on the show. Sometimes I wasn’t even sure if my camera settings were right or not.Journaling:There is no better time now. I love when you call us…. “Moms and Dads time for the show”. We laugh, applaud…. Love it. Of course we always have Connie’s cart wheel…

Bugs

Journaling:I don’t have a lot of time and sometimes my poor garden pays the price. I check the roses and those bugs were all over. I went to get my spray when Carlita told me. “Wait Mommy, poor roses. Let’s pray”. I was so touched when I saw her and Connie put their hands together and started “Dear Lord please help the roses...” I am so blessed with you. You make each day unforgettable.
