Journaling:
I found this picture of my Aunt Agripina. She was my grandmother’s half sister. She had a wonderful marriage but no children, when her husband passed away she decided to go help my mother. My mom was only 17 years old. She was a second Mommy for us. She lived with us since I was 9 months old and she passed on when I was sixteen years old.
She was a strong woman. There was no task difficult for her.
She’ll sit down with us and tell us stories of her farm; we were thrilled to listen to her. I can picture her sitting on the stairs and the stories started. I remember the story when she killed a lion, my petite aunt with a rifle and no fear of the lion. She said “I am not going to wait, that lion was killing my cattle”.
Ay Tia, I wished you can be here with us. I am sure that you will be roud that your teachings are still with us. You’ll always be in our hearts.
