I know having my girls was a miracle, but Carlita was our hero sent from heaven. We didn’t know that Connie suffered from fever seizures and the first time she got one it was when they were taking a bath (they were 3 years old). I was at work; Daddy was watching you and he just left the bathroom for a minute to take something from the garage when he heard Carlita screaming. He ran back and saw Connie pass out and she was under the water. He took her out and performed CPR. Luckily because of the seizure Connie didn’t get any water in her lungs and because Carlita call her Daddy it was a blessing. Unfortunately, Carlita got very scared of water. You would cry when it was time to take a shower or a bath. The pool and swimming lessons are still a challenge for you. Now, you are able to put your face up to your nose. We’ll help you mi Chiquita pretty soon you lose your fear of the water. You may not be a mermaid yet but you are the family hero.
